- Engadin (Switzerland is one of the most beautiful places in the world and Engadin is probably the most beautiful place in Switzerland)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engadin

- Jungfraujoch - Top of Switzerland (only if the weather is fine). The whole area (Berner Oberland) is fantastic for sports.

- Zurich City and the Goldküste (golden coast). See Goldküste by making a trip by ship.

- Basel (particularly the old town and the Kunstmuseum) and if you go there see Fondation Beyeler (museum) in Riehen, which has one of the finest collections in modern art. No city in Switzerland has better museums than Basel.

- Montreux (my favorite place in the French part of Switzerland, the Jazz Festival would be in July...)

- Geneva (see the old town and grab a beer in Clémence at Place du Bourg-de-Four before starting the evening)

- Locarno and Ascona (beautiful places in the Italian part of Switzerland)

- Gruyère (see the castle and learn how cheese is being made, eat a moitié-moitié fondue)

I don't recommend Lucerne. In my opinion, it's the most overrated place in Switzerland.

Enjoy!

I love Switzerland in the summer because I don't do any winter sports, and it looks much nicer without snow EVERYWHERE!

You could visit Zurich because it's a beautiful city, with a lot of history and a lot of things to explore. You could take a boat tour of the Zurich See, which is Lake Zurich. It's absolutely beautiful, and you get to see all the towns along the Lake. If you visit Luzern, they also have boat tours which I highly recommend, because it's the best way to see everything in the town in a short time. It's also a great opportunity for pictures!
