What to do in Zürich for 3-4 hours? |
I have a 6 hour stopover on Zürich on my way to LA. I wish to spend this time visiting 1-2 tourist spots. But I am unable to figure what are the best places to visit in that time. Moreover since I have only 3-4 hours, I wouldnt want to go too far away from the airport.
So request suggestions on what to do for 3-4 hours.

Have a stroll thru the old town "Niederdorf" and also visit the famous Bahnhofstrasse. Maybe coffee and sweets at "Sprüngli" or "Teuscher" or try the famous "roasted Bratwurst" sold in many street stalls. Since yr time is quite limited you'll miss out Zürich Zoo, boatrides on the lake etc. |

Airport is 7 miles from Zurich, in Kloten, which is a city on the outskirt of Zurich.
Always check timing to go thru security and customs. I would suggest to stay at this airport. If you go out of the airport, you need to be back at least 2hrs prior international departure.
