What would be good day trips from Kandersteg, Switzerland?
I am taking my 60 year mother and 10 year son for their first trip to Europe and we will be staying in Kandersteg for a week. What are your suggestions for good trips we can take by train and still be able to return to Kandersteg for the night?
You shoudl defenitly go to Bern, Zurich and Geneva. I would also suggest going to the Jungfraujoch or the Shilthorn, even though it's expensive, because (if it's nice weather) you'll have agreat view. Interlaken and thun are also very nice, so if you have time I'd visit one of those too.
PS, I live in Switzerland
