Switzerland is definitely not a boring country!!! And it's also much more than cheese and banks!!!
Switzerland is split between 3 language zones, the east is german, the west is french, and the small south part is italien. In terms of beauty, all 3 are equally interesting, the swiss germans are a bit more close minded though :P.
I suggest you visit some cities, Geneva is small but beautifull and interesting, Zurich is the only BIG swiss city, and Bern is the capital. Besides, you shouldn't miss Lucerne, or Lugano in the south.
I don't know what kind of trip you'll be doing, but I strongly suggest you take the train to travel accross the country. It's comfy and extremelly convenient for travel.
Anyway, it's hard to make a list of sites you could visit, the country is small but the possibilities are endless... You won't get bored!!!
Have a good trip!!!

Switzerland is beautiful. I would concentrate on the mountains, especially if you're coming in Spring or Summer. In the winter the skiing is brilliant but there incredible walking tracks through all those same resort villages. You have the canton of Valais and I also really loved Zermatt and also Grindelwald (near Interlaken). The cities along Lake Geneva are worth a look too and make sure to vist Chillon Castle if you get to Montreux (there's a huge jazz festival there in Summer too). Don't get caught up in the cliches! The watches and chocolates are great, but the mountains and lakes are incredible. And by the way, the airport here could not have a place where you can stand in 3 different countries. Maybe 2 - it borders France - but only France...

Don't really have to be interested..I'll go anywhere. I love to travel.

Switzerland, why not.
They use to enjoy a high style of life, but I surprised that since 1995 there have been more heroine addicts.
They allow free drug clinics, a bad idea.
They can afford to that in Europe, you wouldn't last long in the States or in Vancouver.
Look what happened to Sid Vicious.

well I was just in Zurich about a month ago for my brothers wedding...skiing is spectacular...the people there are are aloof and sometimes outright rude...I wasn't so fond of the people...Otherwise it was ok...I may even go back in April to visit my brother and sister in law...

I actually am going to switzerland this summer!
What interested me was that my cousins went
and said that of all the European countries they went to, Switzerland was the most impressive.

Also- Switzerland is one of the ONLY countries that I can buy a CD I want from. (along with Austria and Germany I think)

A380 ROX!!!!!
snow boarding, castles, ultra straight people, honest banks, para gliding, canyoning, hiking, there is a place in geneva airport where you can be in 3 countries at the same time.

Nothing!! Been there...done that.... boring country, unless you love watches, clocks and cheese.
