there is no best time, it's up to you. what do you like best?

Winter: (December to February) is good for skiing. there are also possibilities for summer skiing (Klein Matterhorn).

Autumn: (August to October, November is mostly rainy and/or cloudy) good for hiking.

Summer: (June to August), temperature range can be pretty wide (from 50Â° up to 105Â° F depending on location). all summer activities available.

Spring: (March to May), many ski resorts are open till April.
also good for hiking.
