any dept store (Manor, Globus, Jelmoli, etc.) has a electronics section, where you'll be able to buy the travel adapters. Coop City (another dept store, though it's really more of a combination of the grocery store Coop with tradtional dept store merchandise) will likely also have it, and might be cheaper than the other more mainstream (and coincidentally, higher end) dept stores. there's also the InterDiscount shops, most often found at the train stations; they sell discounted consumer and household electronics, though for adapters, the price won't differ much from the bigger shops (i've only really seen bigger ticket items like laptops and stereos being more heavily discounted at InterDiscount). if you just want a simple, no frills adapter, try Coop (the grocery store) -- the larger ones carry generic adapters (rather than the fancy Targus-branded interchangeable world-wide versions seen at Manor or similar stores), and they'll probably be the cheapest you'll find in the country. but the truth is, it's easier and cheaper to buy the adapters in your home country, because in Switzerland, even something so pedestrian can often be priced quite high -- it's not that they price gouge (in fact, prices are the same throughout the country), but that Switzerland simply just has a high standard of living.

If you're flying in, you can probably pick one up at the airport (though prices will not be too attractive). I picked up a couple at the Zurich airport.

Try tourist souvenier shops, duty free, even department stores.
