Where is the best place to honeymoon in switzerland?

My wedding is in March of 09 and we want to go somewhere that will be snowy. I have always wanted to go to switzerland so I figured this would be a great opportunity! I have no idea where to stay but I want to stay in a mountain lodge for sure.

Mr Who
There is no such thing as a mountain lodge in Lucerne, Zermatt or Interlaken! These are just towns, simple tourist traps, any other place would be more romantic.

I suggest you contact the office of Switzerland Tourism, which can be done by following this link: http://www.myswitzerland.com/en/page-Footer_Content-Impressum-99865.html. Here, you find all the necessary addresses through which you can ask your very specific questions for accomodation in really cozy and romantic lodges or hotels.

i LOVED Lucerne. It's beautiful!! I recommend that!!

Interlaken. A wonderful place to be, between 2 beautiful lakes near mount Jungfrau.

I agree with southern belle-definitely go to Zermatt. It is so beautiful
and charming. Lots of great places to stay. No car traffic, you go everywhere on foot. You can ski if you want. Horse-drawn carriage
rides. A great party scene too. It should be full of people due to ski
season, and most of them will speak English. Go there for sure!

Zermatt!!! It's the most beautiful place I have ever been. You can see the Matterhorn from the resort. Seriously, this is the most amazing place. You have to take a train through the mountains to get there. There are no cars allowed in Zermatt, it's horse and carriage's and little busses that bring you to your hotel. Everything is walking distance. Look into it. You will NOT regret it.
