I say go to Geneva, both cities are equally beautiful but Geneva has the extra "something" that makes you want to go back. |

I am partial to Geneva (i lived there for 10 years). They both offer beautiful sites but i think Geneva has more to offer. You have the old town, the Jet d'eau (geyser-like fountain), beautiful parks, Lake Geneva (a day cruise is totally worth it -- it will take you to Montreux, Vevey). The city is very international (english is almost a second language there) and there's good nightlife too! |

BOTH cities definitely worth visiting - Germanic-speaking Zurich and Franco-speaking Geneva - BOTH very SWISS, utterly enjoyable. Lucky you! |

I personally like Zurich, but some think it is too formal. Geneva is good, if you like laid-back and relaxed place, plus if you like mountain climbing, Mt. Blunc is right next door to Geneva and their Geneva lake is not bad to see either. |

I recommend that you skip Germanic Zurich.
Geneva is a greaqt city to visit - you should also look at Lugano. |

I just went to Zurich and Geneva last week. I like Geneva better than Zurich. Both cities have lake side parks which are clean and people like to just jump into the lake to swim. I like the old town in Geneva better than Zurich. And I also found Geneva is more relax than Zurich.
Just want to let you know, things in both cities are very expensive. $3.00CHF a bottle of water everywhere except in their super market chain Coop. I paid average $40.00CHF for every meal for two people. Good luck! |
