It's o.k. It doesn't rain inside the pub, so I'll be fine.

Nope, it's a glorious day here in the state of NJ. We are planning a cookout with 15 friends. The temp is supposed to go to 79 degrees.
The deck has been cleaned, the gas filled in the grill. Cold salads are at the ready, the London Broil is marinating, the hamburgers are made.Desserts are just needing the finishing touches!
We here in America are celebrating Memorial Day this weekend. This is the official beginning of summer to us.
Tonight we are going to the ocean to see fireworks on the boardwalk. The best weekend of the year in my opinion! I do much to bring in the summer!!!!

Not really: I've visitors coming, so I'll check the house is presentable, and I'll light up a stove at least partly for show, which I wouldn't have done if it was bright sunshine.

The local steam rally is going to be very muddy, today and tomorrow, if it isn't called off: the venue has been known to flood. I won't bother going tomorrow if it's pouring, as forecast.
