I should be doing something else
|
I would never leave the UK for good, but this is a list of the things that I have not yet seen and would like to:
Tower Bridge
London Dungeons
Buckingham Palace
Shopping in Harrods
Hyde park
Regents Park
Have a drink in the Blind Beggar
Do the Jack the Ripper tour
Visit as many of the beaches in Cornwall as I can
Go clubbing in Brighton
Stonehenge
Lundy Island
Shopping in the Trafford Centre
Go to somewhere really remote in Wales
Visit the underground street in Edinburgh (Sorry can't mind the name of it)
Go to Longleat safari park
Go to Alton Towers and Thorpe Park
There are probably lots more, these are just off the top of my head. I usually go on holiday abroad and unfortunately haven't seen much of the UK =] |

They are my 2 fave places.
Go to my parents grave and say "sorry, for leaving you",and cry my eyes out.
Go to my 3 sisters and say "Goodbye", and cry my eyes out. |

Walk around central London at 5am on a Sunday Morning in summer - it is the most beautiful and amazing place. Architecture and nature come to life and it is quite hard to comprehend that this ghost town becomes a buzzing metropolis of people and noise in a few hours time.
Also, I would go to Widemouth Bay in Cornwall, Tintagel Castle (also in Cornwall), The Comedy Pub in Piccadilly Circus, walk along the South Bank from London Bridge to Westminster and then spend time in the Kent Countryside. I'd also dive in the lakes at Snodland. Then sit on the M25 in a massive jam and think 'Thank Christ I'm outta here!' |

Well firstly you must see all the touristy stuff in London can't be arsed naming all but take a couple of days there. Then you must see the ex-city of culture that is Glasgow, such as the legendary Forge a hidden gem which people from all over the world come bask in its glory, The city of Liverpool the current city of culture which some of the best examples architecture such as the example at the side of the Mersey. There is the Lowry in Manchester which is a fantastic Gallery. |

I would take a drive using all the back roads through the countryside down to the coast (any of the resorts with a pier, they're all good). Ideally on a nice warm summers day. I'd then buy ice cream and walk along the pier. Then finish off with fish and chips for supper.
Otherwise, if it's a nice April day like today i'd do the same but admire the amazing scenes of the countryside and churchs etc covered in snow! |

(I'm afraid all these people emigrating in the next few days will be complaining about their new country in a few weeks)
Must See: The Stipperstones (shropshire), High Vinnells (Mortimer Forest near Ludlow Shropshire), The Chiltern Hills (Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire), Oare Hill/Martinsell Hill (Wiltshire) |

Visit Bristol, Bath, tour Scotland and surrounding islands, Machester, Leeds. Don't see the point in moving abroad because you think there is nothing here for you, other countries have similar problems and your own problems you only take with you, bury for a while before they resurface. |

Actually I left the uk and couldnt wait to leave.
I had some pie and mash, cockney style. Went to a market. Went to a car boot sale and stuck my fingers up at the M25.
Sad that our great nation has grown a cancer and is spreading all over like the black death.
Well done all our past and present goverments for your great work. |

I'm moving to Germany soon and I'd quite like to see Westminster Abbey before I go. I've never been there before, despite having seen most of the other tourist attractions in London over the years. |
