They vary so much from one state to another but the speech is easy to understand whereas In UK none of us understand the Scots

I LOVE american accents. I'm going to study in New Hampshire from August to December and I'm so excited. The accents are just wonderful... I hope people will be nice to me.....!
Oh and Scorpio, Georgies are from Newcastle, it is scousers from Liverpool!

I'm a Brit and i LOVE the American accent. Especially the southern drawl and the Boston one.

I do love the Strong ENGLISH accent too :)

american accent is pretty cool and of course the dialect changes from state 2 state. i'm a brummie w/o a brummie accent thank God coz i hate it. the other worst ones are cockney from London and Jordie from Liverpool.

I think in both America and Britain, and probably most countries accents vary greatly from region to region and it's matter of taste. I like New York accents and Southern drawl accents but I can't stand southern accents in the UK!

i think english accents are amazing although i am from hull and we must have the most common and crappy accent ever (since we do live in one of the worst towns ever)

I love them. I'm from Canada, but I've talked to people all over North America on the phone at work. I did, in fact get a lot of transplanted Brits in both the States and Canada(mostly on the west coast) and it was a pleasure to talk to them.
