Strangest accent I have ever heard, My mate who is a Scot has a Cockney wife. Their kids have a Jockney accent. You have to hear this to believe it.

I don't really like broad accents.. people can come from the same area and some people have ear grating accents

I have a soft spot for yorkshire/lancs and west country accent on a woman, the woman in holby/causalty? donna? I like her voice..

I'm a Londoner, I don't really have a strong accent, but I do find women like my accent on the phone, but if I ever meet them, they are sorely disapointed.lol

I am from across the border from the questioner and stillhave traces of my Wirral accent after leaving some years ago.
I too get mistaken in my case for a Yorkshireman or Scouser.

My favourite accent is that of the West Coast of Scotland .

I love middle-class-private-school English accents.
Kind of love the Bristol one (have nooo idea why)
And sometimes Cockney..
And Scottish

Outside of the UK though:
French, American/Canadian, and Irish <3

The Northerner's accent,I just like it & they seem so friendly,mine is a. west country carrot cruncher accent mixed with abit of Londoner,born in one place brought up in another & I hate the west country accent, but I can say that because I've kinda got one,hahahahahhaa.

I love swedish or german accents, and spanish/south american accents too! I know everyone always says Irish accents are nice but I live in Belfast and I hear alot of nice Irish accents and a few really rough sounding accents, especially the native Belfast accent, so I'm sure people don't love EVERY Irish accent!

The only accent I don't like is cockney. It always sounds ignorant.

Scouse, Brummie, Geordie, Scots, Welsh...I like them all but cockney.

Eastenders makes me cringe!...I can't bring myself to watch it!

I LOATHE the Cokney accent, as I always associate it with typical wide boys, and am always on my guard, and worried they are going to rip me off. I am glad I am not on my own in thinking East Londerners sound ignorant, and I am with "Robert C" I hate "Eastenders", as I loathe the accent.

What! For people who can hear accents, yours has to be amongst the finest.
Nothing wrong with the south though. Thats what makes us all different. I'm from London so you'll all think I sound weird.
Message to FRANNIPOP. If you don't like Welsh, Scottish or English accents I suggest you move!!!!! To another country. 'cos we're all happy with what we are! It's called the United Kingdom.
If any body messes with us, after we've finished fighting each other we'll take on the world. Personally I like skirl of the pipes. I'm from the south. But I'll follow the piper.

I love the Accent that girls from England (and pretty much anywere in that section) have it is so sexy.

As long as i can understand what they are saying and as long as the accent doesn't make them sound high-pitched (like scouse and jordie) then i don't mind :)
