Yes, it is a beautiful place. The big cities are famous, but some of the smaller places, like Aberdeen are delightful. Also, if you follow the whisky trail, you will see one aspect of Scotland that you will never forget as long as you live. If you are lucky to be in Scotland during New Year's Eve, or Hogmanay as it is called, you will fall in love with the Scottish people.
