Yeah, Bristol UK. A fantastic city, it has everything.

I lived there for 26 years and I loved Bristol.
The traffic has become a dreadful problem but you can always use back streets to get around it.
The problem with Bristol is that it used to be a sleepy little City, lowest alcohol problems in the Country, the buses finished at 10.0 pm from the City Centre, then people came and said what a lovely, peaceful, law-abiding place it was. They moved in and introduced all their strip joints, night clubs, and so on and turned it into the same sort of place they'd left!
It has fabulous walks, incredible history, in fact everything which could, and did, make a City great.
Please learn to appreciate everything it has instead of running it down for the things it hasn't

Born and Bred here and still like the history, churches, old myths and legends. Some great buildings going up now some of the old stuff has been cleared away. Dont like the new centre though. Clifton and Park street still got style. Crap bus service but loads of eating places and pubs especially around St Nicholas street. You could do worse for a city.

I am from Bristol. It is a great city - if you haven't been to Bristol, you should go to Bristol some time!

But don't use the buses. They are very expensive. That's First Bristol for you...

Dan
