does anyone on here live in Edinburgh? If so what is is like? Im 16 and would like to go to Stevenson College but im not sure whether to do it or not. i currently stay about 2 hours away from there so i need to make my choice wise lol!! thanks |

I live & work in Edinburgh. Went to Stevenson, then Napier many years ago. They have a wide range of courses in Sport, Music, Audio Visual & Film Studies, Languages, Business, Computing, Social Care, Childcare and much more starting this January.
Come to the Open Day on 8 January, 1pm - 7pm. Meet lecturers and find out about courses starting late January.

i live in edinburgh , stevenson college is the 3rd best college in scotland , and i have been there and its worth going to plenty of people to meet and for edinburgh , plenty to do even more in august when the festival starts , |

Hi there. I am starting a Business course at Stevenson at the end of January. Are you going to the open day on the 8th? I stay in Loanhead 15 mins from the college. What are you studying? I am 25 so a mature student now! Edinburgh is a nice place to stay in my opinion in many ways. I will be here for the rest of my life :-) - Email me if you want a buddy |

I'm from Edinburgh, although i'm studying at Telford College.
It's probably worth your while going to the open day coming up to see if you like the college, I went for an interview for a graphic design course and I didn't like the campus at all.
Since you live so far away you'll have to think alot about if you're going to stay at home or move. Since you're only 16 you would get alot of help with accomodation if you chose to go into student accomodation. If you chose to stay at home they'll still help you with travel expenses.
