Yes, living as I do in the south-west of England, we have plenty of rain, as I look out of the window right now at 9 am, the unmissable signs of wet windows, wet roads and dark brooding skies are there - even the radio tries it's best to cheer-up the listener. However, I am not unhappy as I have lots to do, visiting another town, although the chances are that the rain will still predominate. I think I can imagine where you are in the hot Med. - yes ? best wishes from me P.

Hi there Haggisbasher, Hello from Kent, the garden of England. Sorry to hear that you are homesick. As you have probably heard already, we have had copious amounts of rain. However, yesterday was sunny, but the weathermen say rain is on its way again....groan. It would be great if you could send us some sunshine! How can you have too much of it!!**?!??? Lol.

Hi Haggis, well now, I live in Bristol and it is raining yet again, I have never known weather like this, we have had no summer what so ever, I think we had a few days of sunshine around about late April or early May I think, hundreds of thousands of houses are under water with massive flooding all over the country, never seen anything like, count yourself lucky that you are not here.
