Anyone know which motorway in England is classed as the most dangerous of all?

could include for e.g which one has had the most number of accidents resulting in death/serious injury or used the most by criminals, law breakers or dangerous drivers etc?

In terms of accidents per kilometre, it is the M621

In terms of general criminal use per kilometre, it is the M606

Try the M62 it is a nightmare for accidents the M6 comes a close 2nd.

M6

I drive 40,000 miles a year. definitely the M62 and the M6 are about the same.

Hi, its not the motorways that are dangerous, its the idiots that drive on them. so maybe its the M25.

M62 at Rishworth Moor between Oldham and Huddersfield ... nightmare on mornings, there is always an accident without fail in between those few junctions. Must have something to do with it being the highest motorway in England, as it does get very very windy up there

"isitme"
Officially, it's the M621 in West Yorkshire.

yes
its in buxton i think and verry high up. along the road is the 2nd highest pub in england - the cat and fiddle. It has loads of accidnets because it's so high up its in the clouds. When it gets cold, the clouds freeze, well the moistue does on the road, making it treachourous, and many people crash or die on it each year.
A537 Buxton Road

From experience I think it is the M6 - the work part is by Stoke where the motorway bends and the sun always gets in your eyes (Except at night obviously lol)

The Lanky shytot masher
Going by the R5live traffic it's M6 junctions 14 to 21 (Stoke to Croft Interchange) with M62 18 to 22 (Simister Island to Scammonden) 2nd. You hear one of these virtually every day, and I only listen whilst going home at tea time.

I would assume it's the M6, I hate driving on it, I need both hands to count the 'accident here, witnesses required' notices.

m1 m25 m4

funky munky is back
Not quite sure, but I've heard the M6 is very bad for accidents.

My bet would be one coming from London as it would be most used, my friend hates the M6 because nobody goes the right speed limit or close to it, perhaps that one.

Regretfully I must take a guess at this and can only come up with one and that is the M25. I personally refer to it as the biggest car park in London. Having driven on most this to me must be the worst.
