No more or less than any others.

Let's think this through: (1) they are human, (2) they are men. That leads us naturally to (3) they lie like verybody else.

No, they just sound better when they are lying.

Like all steriotypes, it's just not true. Englishmen are no more honourable than anyone else. Why should they be different just because they live in a different country?

J.R.
No more so than most other humans.

athina68
like all the other men ...no difference if english , or irish , italian , spanish , greek ...u will find good ones and bad ones :-)

I wish they did, but no they aren't.

No they are no better than other nations. Some are true but you must get to know them for a while before trusting them.

south_parker98
nope.but its all people.men,women,children.irish women, afrian children.not just the english man who lies.

Lilac Lady
This isn't the 16th Century mate. Everybody is as dishonest as the next guy, or truthful, it all depends on the person and the situation, no different in UK than anywhere else, with the exception of some un-namable countries who we wont talk about.

Professor
There are some charlatans but not as many as in some countries

ferrisob1
Well Bo locks to the rest of you my word is my bond.

Not saying I'm a saint but as far as is possible I'm an Englisman an a gentleman.

Sally
No more or less than men from any other country.

We have our good ones... but we also have our bad ones!

Santal
Englishmen are like men & women the world over. Some are honorable, some are not. Some mean what they say, some do not. Some don't even know what they mean . . . I've known good ones and not so good ones. One must look to the individual and their past actions rather than generalize. Hope your Englishman is trustworthy (if you have one and that's why you're asking this question.)

If you had said English women I would have said yes!! Ha ha. I would say that when it really matters we are true to our word, but everyday normal things we lie like the rest of 'em!!
