Yes depending on the airline - I flew Aberdeen to London and back again and I took mobile on board - this was yesterday.

Yes... I was allowed to take mine on an internal flight within the UK last week.

Not for a good while yet.

They've never been allowed to be switch on because of the very slight risk it might cause problems with the flight. Now however, they're switch off and in the check in luggage only.

you are now permitted to carry your mobile again on any flight BUT it must be switched off before you board the plane and not switched on until after you get in the terminal building.

No I don't think so, the reason for not having mobile phones on is that the signal may interfere with navigation equipment. So you wouldn't want to be heading for Aberdeen and end up in Glasgow

snow_anh07
you can have them on the plane, but they have to be turned off.

gypsy
They are not allowed on any flight.

You mean, "international" flights? Or do you mean internal as in "domestic"?

No. Mobiles are not allowed on any flights.

No. Using it can disturb the plane work, like signal or some stuff like that.

No they are not as they affect the airways traffic signals. The only way you can phone off a plane anywhere in the world is when you travel with Virgin and then you have to use their handsets and it costs a fortune.

k9counsellor
Mobiles had to be kept on silent during internal flights but that was before this latest scare. I think it might be a good idea for you to check with the airline beforehand.
