In Scotland, there are NONE of these outdated restrictions on shopping hours. Indeed, some supermarkets are open 24 hours, 7 days a week, closing only at Christmas and Hogmanay. |

In England & Wales yes (except for Easter Sunday when they are required by law to be closed), but only for a maximum of 6 hours - most open 10-4 or 11-5. |
