That not quite true, but what is..............when the bill comes to be paid, they've all got short arms and deep pockets.

gypsy
I think you've got it wrong , there are a lot of midges ( tiny flying creatures) on the West Coast which bite ! The people are no shorter than other Brits.

i think you've mistaken people/midgets for haggis. yeah, they're real vicious, which is partly why haggis hunting is sooo popular over here. it's such a challenge, especially finding one in the first place....

your pete
Especially the men. Every kilt I have looked up reveals something quite short, so at least half the people are short assuming 50/50 population.

Midges are small flies. I am a Scot and I am not short. My son is 6'
3" as is my brother and cousins. However i would say that the Scots do tend to be a bit smaller in certain areas of the country.

the Scottish soldiers based in Germany are called by the local people "poison dwarfs"

midgies - gnats. Little biting flies. They infest the countryside - especially in the west - in summer. I'm 6 foot 1

frank-s. Are you trying to say that we are mean??? Can i tell you that it's the opposite. We are actually very generous. Well people in Glasgow are. I cant speak for the rest.

That's bollox. Scots are fine, handsome stallion like men. It's the English who have boils, scurvey and screech like wounded rabbits.

And yes it's midgies, not midgets.

Oh yes ... those short Scottish people are well known for their bites - they've got viscious tempers too and have been known to attack without warning - so watch out!

It's true...honest injun!!

It is evolutions way to protect them from the dreaded haggis.
The haggis is short sighted so can't see them !!
