This is a completely inaccurate stereotype ,
perhaps unlike the stereotype that American's are arrogant and thick.
We not only have dentists , we have the nhs, and everyone i know has fine teeth. Stop watching Austin Powers (An american playing a Brit!?). |

Another racist stereotype from ignorant people who have probably never set foot beyond their own pit,and have only seen old tv imported tv shows from the 70's. I am from canada but have lived in the UK for 16 years and don't know anyone with really dreadful teeth except someone with a genuine medical problem (no calcium to produce good teeth.) I truly hate the American 'fake' look--huge glaring white veneers are horrid and just make your mouth look unnatural, distended and horsey. |

the difference between the brits and the yanks is that we value functionality over aesthetics and don't weaken our teeth by getting half them taken away in order to get veneers or other unnecessary treatments. |

In all honesty we have a better health care system than the US, if you were to look at it in detail.
At least in our country, we do not f**k up our health... blame and then sue the thing closest to us, then go the easiest route about it and get inane versions and amounts of surgery... to fix the problem that was our own fault to begin with. |

So What

Ha ha, Maybe they just rattle out of their heads from the cold.
And it's THERE not ARE THEY you illiterate idiot.Maybe you should see if there's an English teacher near you ? |

There are far more dentists here than there appear to be in redneck country... |

We do have a shortage of dentists on the National Health Service, but needs are met.
We do not go in for the cosmetic sort of dentistry the Americans have where every one has braces, dentures and caps. We consider this is blatant profiteering by the practitioner which is unacceptable behaviour here. |

They have the worst teeth in the developed world.
Makes me feel glad that I live in the United States of America, where people brush their teeth and have access to the best health care services on the planet. Thank God for the U.S.A. and Yahoo, a great American company that provides a GREAT service for anyone, including ignorant British people, who want to hate on Americans. |
