Lovely place. If you go on the open top bus tour (its not just for the elderly) you will see far more and can get on and off the bus whenever you want all day. It will take you to the outskirts where you will see some lovely views. The Abbey, old bath house and the pump rooms are very popular as is the night life. There is lots to do for the young so you would not be bored.

Beer Talk
Yes - good day out or overnight stay. Trains from London are normally excellent.

Hi,

Bath is such a lovely little town in England and not far from London (approx 2 hrs drive or by train from Central London).
- Home to the world's heritage of Roman Bath
- Cute town with nice cafes, shops and pubs

Yes its a great place ! I when't a couple of years back with my family and we all had a great time (even though it was only a day trip)

It is a very beautiful place with a lot of history and beautiful ruins. The Roman Baths are amazing. It's all from a hot water spring, completely natural. You can even drink some of the bath water at the bar! It tastes pretty disgusting though!

maxiumus

For tourist Bath is a good place to go, its historic not to big and you can see a lot in a short visit.
If you are travelling by train or bus the train and bus stations are next to the town centre, if you are arriving by car parking for a car can be difficult but there are bus and ride schemes set up on the out skirts of the city.
Hope you enjoy your visit to the UK.
