Beach holiday in England?

My friend and I would love to take a beach holiday in England this weekend. I heard Wales has some beautiful sandy beaches. Can you reccomend anyplace in Wales or perhaps anywhere in Southern England? (We live in London) Thank you!

Brighton is the best- it has a stone beach - but the atractions around it and the weather will make up for it!!!

Trust me - Brighton is the #1 answer!!!

I live there - and it has so much to offer!!

Tenby In Wales and if you get bored of sitting around you can go on a boat and see puffins.

There are some beautiful places in wales but it can be very cold and windy there not sure why. In england I like blackpool and skegness but it does depend a little on where you are travelling from. As you are just of for the weekend you need really to choice somewhere close to where you are other wise you will be spending the whole time travelling. Have you considered pontins at blackpool you can include food so a complete break or butlins situated in minehead, skegness or bognor regis whichever is closest to you
