Just had a touring holiday in Wales, drove up from the south, through the Brecon's, up through Snowdonia, Breathtaking scenery, fantastic coast, loads of waterfalls. Snowdonia in answer to your question. |

all of it!!! they will make you feel so welcome if you go there on holiday however they are very possessive of there homes after all people buy up the properties for a summer home and the people that live there cant afford or find a property to buy |

Pembrokeshire South wales especially around Tenby and Saundesfoot very nice there been a couple of times. Also in north wales you could try Llangollen, Betswy-coed, Rhyl.
Have a nice trip when you go. |

Llanberis, a little town at the foot of snowdon is STAGGERINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!! You can also get the train to the "summit". Barring that, a visit to the sirhowy valley where I live is an... uh... experience. |

Machynlleth - north toward mid-Snowdonia - untouched (well it was in 1997) - aural and just pure magic. Or (if your coming from Northern England) - get yourself on the A494...takes you through Bala and the lake, down toward Dolgellau - then a slow ride down to Tywyn - or the other side towards Barmouth and Harlech - suggest you miss Barmouth, as it tends to be a bit like any small English resort - but the road to Harlech...along the coast. Heaven!
It may sound snobbish, but leave out Rhyl and the other towns towards Anglesey - tends to have it's fair share of North West (English) young 'uns selling either stolen goods or drugs...and before someone argues - saw it whilst visiting friends in Llandudno some time ago. |

My in-laws live in Pembrokeshire, and it a really pretty part of the country. Tenby and Saundersfoot are great towns with good beaches. There is also great walking in that part of Wales. |

Snowdonia is my favourite. And Anglesey, too.
Beautiful scenery is astonishing.
In February or March, you will see lot of lovely lamb. |

In my opinion, the best part is coming home, i have been
a few times and have never had the friendly banter,
or warmth the Tourist Board would have you think !!! |

As you see by the first four answers they can only see to the border between wales and England, and talking through their English heads or tails, which ever you wish to pick. Its not all coal tips etc. now You donthave to travel far into Wales to find many beautiful and interesting places. The Gowercoast, Tenby, Port Marrion,Snowdoia, to name but a few, |
