Our favourite place in Scotland is Kilin. It's a small village but very beautiful. We also love Glasgow it is so funky and it absolutely buzzes at night!
Oh' Mas, your home sounds delightful!

kingdom of fife, because thats where golf started

My house, in the middle of nowhere on a farm in Aberdeenshire. No neighbours and wildlife galore. We had 3 deer at the bottom of our garden on Monday night, theres barn owls, and buzzards.

I was going to comment on the "Buckey" word and probably should have since I was brought up there, and its actually on the Moray Firth not Firth of Forth. And as for Emma's comment, she's right, why do you think I got out of there when I did, so my children could have a better education and more oppurtunities than blowing prawns at the scampi.

the highlands and moray. scotland doesnt stop at the central belt! so much beautiful scenery, good nightlife in the cities and generally nice people. by the way "jamjan100" it's spelt Buckie and it has a major bad reputation. send your underage teenage daughters there if you want a fast track to grandkids!

I love Appin on the shores of Loch Crerran or Aonnoch Mor, there's a cable car that takes you to the top and you can see for hundreds of miles, amazing. I love Scotland and it's wonderful people.

Anywhere, depends what you are looking for, shopping and nightlife, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee or Aberdeen, peace and qiet, try the West Coast or the Highlands, Scotland has plenty to offer and beautiful scenery any time of the year.

For everything rolled into 1 it prob has to be Edinburgh, castle, shops, nightlife, restaurants. It's also close to Glasgow (1 hr) where all the good gigs are plus some more great nightlife. If you're driving fire over the bridge and you're in Fife - nice coastal routes to have a Sunday drive along! Can't really go wrong!

Glasgow, for the majority of glaswegians who are friendly, funny, funky people.

glasgow or ayrshire

jamjan100
Buckey on the Firth of Forth where the Salmon is still smoked on the beach and the Malt Scotch is smooth.......yummy.

Martin B
NOT Edinburgh as it's just a small part of England. Ayr in the day time and Glasgow once the sun goes down. Enjoy!
