'Er indoors!!
A little village called Polruan, tiny quaint cottages that tumble down to the sea, hardly anyone has heard of it, so still unspoilt by tourism, catch the foot ferry over to the tiny town of Fowey, for more eating places, and gift shops. It is only 5 miles from the more touristy, but lovely Polperro, and Looe, and 8 miles from the Eden project. Have a look by putting "Polruan-by-Fowey" into your search engine, and find pictures, The magic of Cornwall. Believe me it is gorgeous, and like stepping back to victorian times.

I fell in love with "The Lobster Pot" in Mousehole, way back in 1959.
Went there again for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and had the Lobster Thermidor he promised to buy me "one day, when I can afford it" - it took him 30 years, but I got it in the end.

St Ives or Penzance. Look for a wall of corn, or build one if there is none.

We stayed in a lovely guest house in Newquay called the Carlton Hotel, but the woman who runs it doesn't particularly like young people coming for the clubbing who come in at like 4am or whatever!

If you are after a nice beach, can't get much nicer than the beaches in Lelant, just short of St Ives. Pretty well hidden away, and not overcrowded. Just pray that weather stays good when u go!
