I would recommend going to a couple of places, depending on how long your trip is....
I would highly recommend going to Conwy, Wales. It's the most picturesque place. There is a big castle there (lots of history), it's right on the ocean, and the town is still surrounded by the castle walls. It's just beautiful! The day we were there, it rained and there was a rainbow over the water. It was perfect. Wherever you go, be sure to sit down and talk with the locals. Talking to people was the best experience of my trip. Seeing the sights is great, but the best experience comes from getting to know the locals, even if it's just over a cup of tea or pint of beer..... |

London is a good place to start, but there is so much more, Bath is a roman town with loads of historical sights, i live in Devon (SW england) and Devon and neighbouring cornwall are very beautiful places, the UK is not very big so with a few weeks to spare you could take in most of Ireland Wales Scotland and England, get yourself a lonely planet guide to the UK and enjoy!!! |
