Well I go there twice a year for short breaks and funnily enough I was there last weekend. It's a great place-lots of fun, very cheesy & tacky but that's the appeal of it,lots of bars and shops and tons of things to keep you entertained.

jennie c
it's an aquied taste,i hate it ts too tacky

bambam
There's loads to keep you busy.

I absolutely love blackpool! There is alot to do but if your only there for the weekend I recommend you def go pleasure beach and up the tower. Also be prepared to spend alot of money! I must have spent a fortune trying to win teddys from grabbing machines! hehe!

I have been to Blackpool a few times and i love it I have been there when the lights are on , you have to see the trams also lit up they are brilliant
There`s plenty to do and lots of places to buy food
The fair rides are a bit scary
I would really recommend Blackpool

Blackpool is brilliant if ur going for a fun time if its a family holiday ur looking for don't go there !!! Blackpool is for stag n hen nights and a boozy weekend away . I went there with a group of friends and had a great time but I wouldn't go there with my family . If u decide to go have a great time and try out 'The Manchester' it's rocking there at the weekends .

bert
Not too good for families these days, O.K for stag and hen do's, If its a family break that you are looking for, forget it !

Used to live there!!

Don't jump off the piers whilst drunk and you'll be fine!

Boring fact time....
Blackpool is the English version of the Irish, meaning Dublin.

As for the place....it's non stop party time, you'll probably love it. You'll spend a fortune. For the nights out, I doubt if any town in UK has the same amount of people getting totally sh1tfaced at the same time. Some great clubs, massive pubs....with 80% of the people outside having a smoke :-)

It's like Dublin but without the style.

blackpool is brill you will never get bored there is plenty to do and see u will love it
