don't honestly, my mum doesn't speak english and she can't find a job for over 2 years. plus the rent prices are stupid and expensive. move to somewhere nicer and cheaper where you have a better chance of finding a job. Good Luck!

Oh Crud!
HA dont worry about it, the government will give you everything anyway

I have lived in London all my life.
I have just retired [early] and have done something I've always wanted to do.
I have LEFT London.
I now live 200 miles away and life is better.
Its cheaper, you can park a car, and we breath clean air.
I had to stay in London for work but I am now glad to be away.
If you cannot speak English you will only get a low paid job in the tourist industry. You will not be able to afford London prices on that money. You will not be able to eat out [except at Mc Donald's]
I think too many people come to London and are disillusioned.
It sounds good , but only if you are a big money earner.

.We welcome foreigners,we are very friendly, very generous, and downright gullible, you will think all your Christmases have come at once. But you must be quick because I believe the money is running out, I base this on the fact that pensioners will only get a £3--40p rise.

Well I've heard London is expensive but, if you get a nice job you should be able to make a good living. But make sure you have enough money to survive when you move there.

LEARN HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH FIRST.. CULTURES WHO LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY SHOULD AT LEAST LEARN THE LINGO..

I've always lived in London, and yes it is very expensive in comparison to other places, but it also provides a lot of well paid jobs in the centre of the city. It's probably best to know English before coming, but there are still large communities of people who don't, and live and work in entirely different language... it all depends where you are from.

I would never advise anyone to live in London. Things are RIDICULOUSLY expensive - rent for example is almost 3 times higher than anywhere else in the country. It hard to find work as well - unless you have a good degree - and if you don't speak English I'm afraid most jobs would either be in cleaning or building - factory work is not really available in London, but in the industrial places up in the North. Whilst there are foreigners here its still hard for eastern europeans to be accepted here

if you want to come here, earn money and send it back home its not the place. Maybe elsewhere in the UK, but London is too expensive.

Brilliant B
london is a very big place and as its a city it will be expexsive you should rent first and yes you can find work just send then a c.v and just keep trying good luck xx

Helen S
London is very expensive. Sure, there are well-paid jobs here, but if your english is not good, then you won't get a good job. This will mean that you'll need to live in a not-very-nice area, and won't be able to afford to do very much.

You're coming to London because it looks like it's fun, there's lots to do, etc - but you will be very disappointed if you can't afford to do any of it.

If you want to integrate, the best thing to do is to speak english.
