Corneilius
A Breck is an old English word meaning a space, or the space between.

Originally the area that Breck Road is situated on was part of Lord Derby's hunting grounds, the main building of Cardinal Godfrey School was his hunting lodge, (and one of the oldest buildings in Liverpool) but was demolished with the rest of the school to make way for a Kwik Save.

Today it is a main road with small shops and terraced streets.

Stella S
