British girls???

This question is directed mainly at british girls or any girls from the UK for that matter.. im curious to know what your take on american guys are. Some buddies and i are planning a trip to europe this summer for high school graduation and we just wanna kno what to expect from the locals (london is where we plan to stay in england). I kno the reputations of americans isnt exactly favorable and we have our fair share of negative stereotypes, but if i was good looking and had a personality, would that get me anywhere? If from california by the way so deep down i may be a little more "european" than the rest of my compatriots. lol . someone please let me kno... thanks :)

American guys rate pretty low with the girls over here. Italian, french, scandinavian and our very own English are a lot further up the list I'm afraid. It's the same as how British men feel about american women. Obviously some of you are very nice but the majority of your countrymen paint a bad picture and you'll all get tarred with the same brush.

Most of us like Americans in general so I'm sure you'll get on fine here!

One tip though is to not appear too "cocky" or overconfident. This can sometimes be offputting and intimidating. For example, don't brag about how much money you have or how much better than Britain America is!

I hope you enjoy your stay here!

i suggest u talk less and be not that hyper like all americans are. that will take u somewhere

In my experience, American guys are sweet as long as they go down the sweet, sincere and chivalrous route and not the arrogant American Pie humour route (sooo not sexy). The first time my American boyfriend opened my car door for me I nearly fell out in surprise. English guys don't tend to do that kind of stuff. Plus the Californian accent is not too hard to listen to- may even be a novelty.

Providing you don't want to date idiots, you'll find a lot of girls simply take your being American as indicative of your nationality, and little else...

Well I live here I am not english but my answer counts for all european girls.
If you good looking or your face is an **** doesnt matter to me. as soon as I hear the american accent I would touch you with ten pair of rubber gloves.

most British women love American men to be honest. its the charm and the accent. if you are a bit like tom hanks you will be fine if you know what i mean. British ladies like tom hanks and johnny depp and denzel Washington because of their personality. I hope this has helped a bit but my attitude is so long as you are a good honest caring person it does not matter where you come from. welcome to britain and enjoy your trip to our land!! all the best!!

Your accent would be a winner, i love American accents and the way they say my name.. sigh.......

Any way just be yourself, don't debate about the war, don't be too over confident and don't be put off if the girls seem a little icy.. we are just slightly more suspicios & reserved over here!(Unless we are drunk lol!)

British girls love an American - always have, probably always will. Something about their accent just opens doors no matter what you look like - you'll have a great time.

Good looks and charm will get you so far mate, but a flash car and loads of money will get u that little bit extra. Its just like America mate but don't go to Soho as u may get more then you came for in the groin region. But i think that u've already got the makings to get a bird over here, if you don't mind catching something.

Ja........nasty products! I agree with you cent /cent.
