Whatever floats your boat, I guess. Can't see any reason why not. Why would you want to take Irish ciggies to Turkey, when 1) they make fantastic cigarettes themselves, and 2) you wouldn't be smoking them?

no. there's a limit to the number of bottles of alcohol and boxes of cigarettes you can import. (else, smugglers would be doing this all the time and making a fortune).

for booze, it's 1 to 2 liters for most countries, and for cigarettes, it's 100-250 cigarettes.

and reply to 20DUB06: did you know there's a death penalty in the US? we're the only industrialized democracy to still kill people for crimes.

Fabio
sure buy 4000 if you want

There is no such thing as duty free within the EEC. But you can buy fags at the airport shop if you are travelling out of the EEC. Coming home, you would have to leave 1800 in Turkey.

nkellingley@btinternet.com
No, you can only take 400. But yes you can then bring them home again.

alyamed
WHAT WOULD U WITH ALL THIS AMOUNT !!!!!!!!!!
BTW IT'S BAD FOR YOU HEALTH

jack
Even if you take them to Turkey, you would be stuffed coming back from the UK, because it's outside the EEU, so that means you can only bring back 200 in anyway. & ny the way, Lamberts etc only cost about £11 - £12 in the airport at Dalaman.
