Can learner drivers drive over the dartford bridge and threw the tunnel?

Additional Details
i know learners cant drive on motorways but the road leading on to the bridge is an A road?

Petero
No. Learner drivers cannot drive on motorway.
Your question asked about driving on the Dartmouth Bridge and through the tunnel, nothing about the 'A' road approaching it.
You can drive on the A road, but what happens when you get to the motorway?

no am afraid not.andrew c has also got this question wrong,no learner can go on the motorways unless they have passed there test.this is from a driving instructor....

jimmy_hills_chin
no the bridge itself is part of the m25
illegal move buddy

tyson
not on a motorway no

I don't believe it!

Threw the tunnel? It's a motorway is it not? The M25? Then the answer I believe is no.

A N Mouse
No they are still classified as a motorway

shlomogon
Impossible! You'll need to find a real driver for that.
through, not threw.

Hector S
Sorry m8 it is restricted for you
But after your driving tuition perhaps try and English one as you cannot spell . . .
but seriously though if you are a learner, it will frighten the living daylights out of you - it does me and I am a pro heavy driver

fiona
The Queen Elizabeth Bridge over the Thames at Dartford is NOT a Special Road in the terms of the Special Road Act, and, therefore, supervised learner drivers are allowed to use it.

The same applies in the opposite direction to the Dartford Tunnel.

The road designation is A286 - NOT the M25. (Contrary to popular myth, the M25 does not form a complete circle around London!)

andrew c
Yes ,but only when having motorway driving lessons from a qualified instructor
