Define what you think is a good English accent and maybe I could say.
There is no "good English accent". There's not even a "good American accent".
It all depends where you come from. If I say to a Geordie or a Scouser that he doesn't have a good English accent, I'm likely to be wearing my teeth at the back of my throat. |

The most different and interesting to me are:
1. Geordie (Newcastle)
2. Brummie (Birmingham)
3. Scouser (Liverpool)
4. Mancunian (Manchester)
5. West Country accent (Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, etc.) |

If you mean by good English accent you are referring to the 'plum in the mouth type' then I would choose the following:- London, Oxford, Cambridge,Windsor,Winchester. |

You can have a 'good' accent in practically any city in the UK. It much depends on the person's home life and schooling.
I know people who speak with very little regional dialect from many cities, North and South. |
