Can you please recommend the best spots to visit in London for an afternoon with some Aussies?
Not the really touristy places - they've been there before. We are going to go on the London eye, but I'm trying to think of a really good itinery for the afternoon. Even one or two suggestions would be great. They are 30years old!
Just wandering along the South Bank could be nice...Even just around Tower Bridge there's Butler's Wharf and the Design Museum (v cool) and Fashion and Textile Museum on the South side and St Katherine's Dock north, lots of scenic places to eat/drink/chat and not very touristy.

Nothing better than a walk along the Thames, can start at the London eye and all the way down to the London Tower bridge if you are up to it...stop in somewhere for a snack along the way..

I took two business delegates (aged 30+) to the Haagen Daazs cafe in Leicester sq. - they haven't gotten over it till today. Make sure you end your evening there, they'll love it!

Have they been outside of London? I suggest taking them to Stonehenge, and Bath (where the Roman Baths are). I'm 30, and I know that is what i'd like to do. If they are more in a party mode, there is a great bar almost directly accross the street from the Tower of London...can't remember the name, but it is on the corner right after you exit the property. Have fun! :)

Have you heard of the ghost tour? I'm going to London soon and a friend told me about a tour that this guy takes you to all these pubs and tells you about all the ghosts.
