If you like places like the Stiff Kitten, I'd say M-club would be your idea of hell, unless you want an ironic, laugh-at-the-people-there kind of night.
Auntie Annie's is good on Thursday nights, though I haven't been in a couple of years. They play indie and rock music.
Limelight is also good Thursdays, especially when they have a school-disco night, where everyone dresses up.
The Bot can be good some Thursdays too. It's a bit more dance music.
Thompsons used to be good. (Again I haven't been to it in years though)
