NO Most non-tropical countriess do it its called Daylight savings Time...
But they don't all do it on the same days though to confuse things.. its Spring Forwards but Fall Backwards.. |

I wouldnt think so. Otherwise the whole world would be time zoned incorrectly. Like NY in America is 5 hours behind the UK, which is shown as GMT-5. If they didnt change with us, and we went forward an hour, they would end up GMT-6, which is wrong. It would also mean that travel time to Australia would take one hour less than normally, even though you'd be on the plane the same amount of time.
So, no I dont think its just a UK thing ;)

Other countries do it like Canada and australia but i hate it espicially winter when it gets dark at 3 30 - 4 pm mind you the UK is at quite a northerly latidude so thats another reason |
