Rather a long way - but 4 trains per hour most of the time.

in miles or time?
it may be about Distance: 95.1 miles from Bedford to Gatwick, and the AA reckons it's possible in 1hor 45 mins, but remember thats either heading through London (with congestion charge) or round the M25! Both are subject to huge delays - so keep in mind what time of day you'll need to travel. It's not a pleasant journey!

Its about 100 miles, but It's probably easier to take the train, there is one direct from Gatwick to Bedford, simply ask at the station or use national rail enquiries

Is Yahoo Maps only for the United States? If so, there must be some computer map service (like MapQuest) in the UK. Get used to using it, then you won't have to wait for someone to answer your question next time!

I assume that at some point you would be planning on making this trip.
Here is a website which will help you plan, it includes train, bus and car journies.
