Do British people still have "Tea Time"?

If they do, why are they almost all skinny? Is that why they have bad teeth?

A few among the older generation keep up the custom. The point about teeth is a tribute to our socialised dental system.

☆looty☆
Yes, they have tea time. No, they are not all skinny. And no, they don't all have bad teeth.

We don't have bad teeth, we're just not as obsessed with them as americans ;)

Everything in this question is completely untrue!

Myth 1: We have "Tea Time"
- Although British people drink tea (as much as we do coffee), so few of us have "afternoon tea". And those who do are really posh/old.

Myth 2: We're not all skinny
- I suppose it's better to be skinny than obese (wink wink), yet I'd like to know how many British people you have ever seen / known... If you're taking Emily from friends as the typical English person, wake up! None of us are like here!

Myth 3: We have bad teeth.
- Just a ridiculous exaggeration and display of ignorance on behalf of the American people.

^^ I think in that answer I was perfectly unbiased and fair.

Bad teeth, sadly because dentistry is becoming too expensive in the UK.

Skinny? Hell no, there is loads of fat people here too, since everything in the Uk is being americanised we can eat macdonalds and pizza hut every week. People have bad teeth as they rely on the NHS. No one can get a dentist

Oh and some people still have tea time, it is also known as dinner, we don't all speak like that.

Paul H
Some of us still have
Breakfast
Brunch
Lunch
Tiffins
Tea
High Tea
Dinner
Supper.

But because it's made of real food, not a McShyte or artificial milk etc., we don't get fat.
Unfortunately, those that do eat McShyte and treat it as a main meal are generally too dim to actually use a cooker and so eat such rubbish daily. They are fat, morbidly fat.

Capodastaro
stereotyping again

no doubt your a yankee so ill stereotype you

why are you so fat, uneducated and follow every god damn cult

and we dont have bad teeth, were just not as obsessed with them as you americans are with you forever whitening your teeth

Yes many do. I wish more English people were skinny; unfortunately obesity is almost as bad a problem here as in America; high fat junk food diet is to blame and lack of exercise.

We do have tea time, around 5-00pm, and I don't know where you get the idea English people are all skinny!!!! English people are heading the same way as you lot I'm afraid, seeing as you sent over all your fast food outlets. As for bad teeth, It's virtually impossible to find a decent cheap dentist surgery in England, that's why we have bad teeth.

gdawg_90
That put milk in their tea.
