well some, because like the UK you have lots of different ones.
I find some amusing, some down right hard to understand, try the
Bronx, Brooklyn types and you know what i mean, but good old southern charm wins me over, and the yes mam and no mam, is very likeable. |

depends...when i was in the UK some of them loved it when i spoke...and others really thought it sounded wierd.
i think it's more one sided how american girls like british accents though.
though since i lived in england so long i have both accents that i can turn on and off if i want/need to. :) |

No, they don't go for American accents the way American girls love British accents. We're just not bothered about American accents one way or the other.
However we tend to see girls with American accents as automatically "Cool" and most teenage girls now talk as if they've dropped straight out of the film Clueless.

I don't mind...Like the UK you have so many different accents in America...
Some I like and some I don't... I have a friend from Boston. I love her accent, So soft and relaxing to listen to.
Same here in the UK, there are accents I love, some Scotish accents..Some I can't understand lol. I love the Yorkshire accent too, but maybe I'm biased there as that's my accent LOL |

I love american accents esp california. I think young english girls grew up on the likes of high school musical therefore they automatically assume the american accent is cool because there idols are american. Its very sexy on men as well!!! |
