YES YES YES YES YES. but only with salt and vinegar and mushy peas. mmmm I know I'm reinforcing a stereotype but they are so damn tasty

Artemis
I do. Along with a pickled onion and wally (gherkin). A bit of red cabbage would go down nicely too.

Friday is cod and chips night.

It used to taste best wrapped in newspaper and eaten walking along the seafront. Aah memories.

Do all Americans have lame brains which accounts fior the reason their TV programmes have to have canned laughter to instruct them when to laugh at the joke which is normally as funny as dog poo on one's shoe?

Although a significant number of the population like fish & chips (called a fish supper in Scotland), like everyhing else, not EVERYONE likes the dish. It has nothing to do with being vegan or whatever, some people simply do not like fish. Indeed, there are cases of allergies to fish. For some people, having fried food presents health problems (for example, a gallstones sufferer)
