No you don't but it's a good idea to have some ID like a drivers licence, if you were flying, some airlines still require them but you'll be ok on the ferry.
Have a good crossing, I've done it dozens of times. |

No....you only require a passport to fly, ferry is ok, my daughter goes over every 8 weeks (holyhead-dublin) to see her dad, she has never been asked for her passport or any form of ID |

No. You're travelling from one part of a country to another part of the same country. You may need some form of ID, though, for security checks. |

Both part of the UK until you leave the UK you do not need a passport, but anytime you are leaving to go to any other country,fiefdom, kingdom you need your passport. |

no i dont think you need it because there both part of the United kingdom (thank goodness! lol!) but i think it can be fun if you want to come to the us i'll be there! but fortunatly ferry's are fun |

No, you are travelling within the united kingdom. However when flying you do sometimes require a photo form of identification, Im not sure if ferries are the same. |
