security will ask for proof of id so it is best to take a passport or drivers license to prove this something with photo id and proof of uk residence even though its a domestic flight... |

Presumming your British - technically, no. As long as you have photo id (ie photocard driving licence) you should be ok. Never tried it myself though, always took my passport just in case.
Hope this helps :-) |

Well my dear, the way i look at it, better safe than sorry. If you don't have one, then I'd definitely check first. A little legwork now will save you a large headache later.
Good Luck! |

I assume you are travelling by Easyjet and they say on their site: "Passengers are required to provide photographic ID at check-in on all flights including domestic services.
If you are unsure what constitutes a valid ID we recommend you contact our customer service department on 0871 244 2366 (calls cost 10p per minute; calls from mobiles and other networks may cost more) for further information."
So any official photgraphic id, eg driving licence, should be ok.

You will need photographic ID of some sort. Check with the airline that you are flying with (I assume its Easyjet) to see the required ID. When my in-laws come over from Belfast to Luton, my father in law uses his photo driving licence. |

In theory no, you don't need a passport. You used to be OK with a photo driver's licence. But because of enhanced security at airports check with your airline to see if you need a passport these days. |

I've always produced my passport, coming from NI. Ignore advice here and check with the airline. A quick call will do the trick. You need to know 100%. |
