If you want peace and quiet, good facilites I'd head to Cornwall. Between St Ives and Penzance there's a place called Perderleath Camping Site.
Great value
Check their website

totally recommend that you join the camping and caravan club, their club sites have good facilities and are all over the country.when you join you get a really thick book with thousands of campsites in it.

Join the caravan club, they will send you a book of sites around the country. Prices vary depending on facilities, but i found it very helpful

Shoreline Caravan Park, Burry Port, near LLanelli in Wales is a really nice park with excellent amenities. Search it on the web

Hi. Depends on where in the country you are but an excellent site with fantastic facilities id the Camping and Caravanning Club Site at Sandrigham in Norfolk.

7 miles from Hunstanton it is set in the mddle of Sandringham Forest - very quiet, very secure with lovely woodland walks and friendly staff who are more than happy to help out the novice "vanner".

Good luck.

Well Wales is a beautiful place to stay to get away from it all if you ask me personally.Around the Snowdonia region there are lots of beautiful and serenic camp sites where you can camp out or stay in a caravan, all within a resonable price.I advise Llanrwst,I stayed there before and it is beautiful. Good luck! xox :P
