London Is THEE best, simple as!

One of the best cities in the world, It offers brilliant nightlife, Theatres, kids stuff, restaurants.. the list is endless
It has a great atmosphere, everyone is busy, rushing about in their own lives.
The shopping is great, the entertainments great.
Central London is where it happens!
Camden Town is the best area to meet celebrities... I met Amy Winehouse about a year ago, coming out of The Worlds End Pub;She was down to earth and a nice London girl!
Me and my friends met Enter Shikari after a gig before they were famous LOL.
BADLY TOOK IT FOR GRANTED!

Anyone who says London is Rubbish, needs to think it over.
We are lucky to have such a colourful, vibrant City!! People come from all over the world to see our history; the Royals, etc.

I Love London. :)

Personally, i don't like london. They are def. more disadvantages in most senses than they are advantages. Take anything for example:- Congestion, living costs, theft, pollution, people who are too stuck up and arrogant about "up north" and can't see beyond.

The advantages are way to less and materialistic to put into perspective....

Famous ppl...hmm...nope, never met any......probably just seen them walk past.....like everyone does....

No I don't like London and I miss where I lived before (on the coast), but there are more opportunities in London for work.

I haven't met many famous people here, although I did see Tiffany from Eastenders giving a vagrant some paper money outside Nobu restaurant on Park Lane. I had just seen him minutes before urinating against some expensive hotel. And I saw Liam Gallagher on I think Marylebone High Street.

I have worked for the super-rich in London and they are usually a**eholes and often from other countries. Ordinary Londoners are the same as people from anywhere else in the UK.

I lived in London for eight months and I loved it. I moved away and even though it was never really "home", I sometimes get homesick for London. I loved the fact that it was always buzzing, always something exciting going on; I love the history of the city which is all around you. Covent Garden was my absolute favourite place, particularly at Christmas-time when it was just magical.

I LOVE LONDON

i hate London

i have been to London twice, and been mugged twice ... i think i'll stay at home up North in Manchester from now on

Manchester, the best City in the UK :-)

Rachel
I used to love London up until recently, now I just like it. I don't like the people though- a lot of them are w*nkers. But I adore the theatres, the shops and the whole atmosphere of London, it has a certain 'buzz' about it.

As for seeing famous people....I visit London frequently and the only famous people I've seen is Ewan McGregor, Jamie Oliver, Nigel Harman and that bloke who played Keith in The Office. Ooh and I think I saw Lucy Davis in Harrods, but I'm not sure if it was her or someone who looked like her!

To be frank NO.

It's great to visit as a tourist for a few days but very expensive. It's a great place to do business but nobody in their right mind would want to live there.

With the recent change of Mayor it might get better but I doubt it, surely I would not wait around to find out.

I sold my house in Clapham years ago and moved to rural Essex, much nicer and cheaper as well.

Never met anyone in London that was worth remembering.
