Yeah, its not a bad place to live, there are loads of elderly people here so unless they hang out on street corners then there's not much to worry about!!! lol xx

Yes,"Only with my pocket battleship by my side"(my dog),great deterrent for those miscreant street urchins that hang about bothering folks, and getting Leary.(chavvy little "scrotes")

I surely do,I can even walk the beach at any time of day or night . Most people out late are a lot more wary of me than I am of them, simply because I can easily work out who is local and who is a stranger by their direction and dress, one way they're going home the other way they're lost or drunk, and the beach around here is the funniest place in the world to watch a drunk.

Yes, it's quite safe on the chavvy estate where I live. Not at all like the cess-pit the Daily Mail would have you believe.

Misty
Definately, I feel fine walking round my small city at any time between dusk and dawn, and dawn and dusk. If anything, i LIKE walking thru the city at night - there's something wonderfully eerie about it (eerie in a good way)

I will know if anybody is near me before they even spot me :D

Yes, I feel quite comfortable. But then again I feel comfortable walking through many neighborhoods, it comes from self confidence and knowing I can handle myself. Don't act like a victim and you will less likely become one. If you need to take self defense classes to feel safe then by all means do it.

No defiantely not, so i dont. If i do have to go out after dark i hurry to my car, dont dawdle. It seems that more bad things happen to people after dark because that is when predators are more likely to make an appearance because they feel 'safer' that they wont get caught.

Zeeebah
no I do not, but because I am a single woman that works shifts I sometimes have to walk from the bus stop to my home after 10pm. Its only a 5 minute work, but I hate it.

Kat R
