i don't think any city is safe at night, especially for women

☆Stella☆
Daytime, yes.
At night, no.

But things happen unexpectedly sometimes. You could be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

not really no. its a bit of a rough estate full of chavs so I stand out like a sore thumb

MJ
Yes. I live in London and I feel quite safe. The main thing that annoys me is some people's ( the chavs) anti-social behaviour.

I feel perfectly safe walking around the area in which I live.
(A suburb of North West London. My main fear is not being attacked on the street, but of the next piece of invented malicious gossip the local harridans are going to invent about me)

yes. I live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood in Philly. Most of the people there are old and is settled and have family. My family is thinking about moving into a single house. But we don't think we could ever find a better neighborhood and better neighbors than the one we are living in.

Iron Monkey
Since I left Brixton, yes.

no I live in a rough part of Glasgow in Scotland and my boyfriend was stabbed across the road from where we live

Skepticalist
The Far West Suburbs of Chicago are still very safe except for a few places like Aurora by the Fox River late at night.

Pearl
Absolutely yes, I do. I stay in a little town, in the Northern Cape which is relatively safer than other cities in South Africa.

Yes, very. And I live in a US city that has a bit of crime. I am more watchful at night, as I am female, but it's very safe overall.

Rachel
no. im frm birmingham,

g
Yes I do as I'm the scariest dude on the streets where I am but it's full of pensioners walking dogs whilst I'm a long haired chap.
A few miles away things would be different but I'm ready for anything and I'm not scared of anything but drowning so walking around a load of loose nuts isn't a problem. I've been in enough dodgy illegal clubs in south and north london with lots of dodgy people and if you treat people with respect and hand out peace when you need to I've got along and there has never been any problems.
Peace.
