Do you have a spot you like to visit when you just want some peace?

I like watching the waves. I live in Brighton, South coast UK. Waves seem to wash any worries away with them. What about you?

if it's a clear evening i like to go sit in the park and watch the sunset, but it usually ends up me being attacked by a rabid dog

but i will always remember the most peaceful time of my life watching the sun go down over the nevada desert.

Sinclairs Pub, in central Manchester, get a pint, sit outside and watch the world go by,....Heaven.

I jump in my car and drive where I feel I will get some peace. This could be the docks or a park here in Preston, It just depends what mood I am in. Sometimes I just disappear into a book and ignore everyone.

Danru
I like to go to my local park - or my room.

I myself love Brighton but have yet to see the waves, the water is always absolutely still when i have been there.
My favourite spot in Summer is in the forest, i take my dogs and sit under a massive old oak tree and just sit and think. I relax and my dogs love it as well.

LEX
I live in a range of hills where me and the dog escape to from time to time, we sit for hours looking down on the world and this is my point of peace. TO say the least this is my peace place!!

I'm really spoilt for choice as I live in Cumbria. At the southern end of the Lake District. Sometimes I like to go to one of the beaches near us and watch the waves but mostly I go up on the fells! It's so quiet and really beautiful that I soon feel better and at peace!

Looking for the truth...
Yes, and I'm not joking, but I go to my personal toilet. I live in Japan and in Japan, the toilets are in their own little room. With kids running around all the time, that is the only place where I can get peace and quiet.
