Well, since there is no such thing as a British accent, no. I do, however, LOVE some of the English ones lol. Scotish and Irish are ok, not terribly familiar with Welsh. I like south England accents and am trying really hard to understand my boyfriend's accent, but it's not as easy as my friend in London lol. (My b/f was born in Cornwall, but has been in the East Midlands since he was about 5) I get about 80% over the phone and 95-98% in person...lol. Makes for interesting conversation anyhow! (I am American, btw) |

As some have said, there are hundreds of British accents. I've visited there many times and traveled all around the island. Some are easy to understand, some are impossible. My godson is English and I have a lot of trouble with his Sheffield area accent. Miss about 25% of what he says when he really gets going in a conversation. Also, I might suggest that about 50% of the men in Britain are named David. Well, it seems that way. (grin) |

yes. it is mine. and it sounds better than Americans because they accentuate their r's too much and their t's sound like d's |
|

Rawrrr.

No such thing, there is such a wide variety of accents, within the UK, you cannot define a "British" accent. |

I am English and i like accents, full stop (sorry! "Period"). But there are so many that this question is fairly meaningless. I've got several myself that come out depending on who I'm with - nothing conscious about it, I'm just a bit of a parrot.
I like some american accents, but others really grate on my ear. Sorry! |

Yes - it is very popular and that is why it is used in TV Commercials. |

I'm quite attached to mine actually!
I once visited Colorado and a young lady there totally gushed and went into rapture every time I spoke...never known anything like it before! |

Britain is made up of 4 countries, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England.
I like my accent Geordie, don't like Scottish or Cockney |

There are so many different British accents that the question is meaningless. Like asking if you like cheese (OK, America only has one cheese, Britain three and France three hundred, so it's a bad example. How about asking if you like fruit?).
I really like the Devon accent. I used to not like the Manchunian accent, but I've got round to it now. I always find Liverpool funny.
I hope Americans like my accent (North West London with a tinge of French) - someone has fixed me a date with an American woman this afternoon. |

I like it, but I'm a Brit and have one, so I'm biased.
I have to say, though, I don't like the Birmingham accent. |

Funny, you ask. But I had a boss who was born and raised in England but came to America after college. He was an extremely nice guy and a good manager. He used to joke about my accent and I said to him, "get those marbles out of your mouth".... we both lol...... |
